According to some scientific researchers, many of us are born with the “liberal gene” which makes us friendly, outgoing, sociable, and open to other people. The scientific breakthrough the existence of socialites versus loners, or the fact that some people are extremely lively in the presence of many people while some despise the presence of many people (claustrophobia). For the friendly-person, he develops many friends and develops the obligation to give gifts for each and every birthday. Of course, despite our liveliness and outgoing personality, there is still this individualistic notion of practicality. Acquiring a gift every now and then costs and drains money. Imagine if you have five friends having a birthday this month. You would be spending a total or 7.5 hours (1.5 hours each) to drive to the store, buy the gift, and check it out. You would also spend hundreds of dollars in the process of acquiring the items. If I were you, you better stockpile your shelves or gift boxes with salt and pepper shakers. These are useful, non-consumable, solid, and long-lasting objects. Aside from those mentioned, they are much cheaper than the usual common gifts like stuffed toys, ceramic plates, or bags.
The sociable person does not need to spend too much money on gifts. However, as a consequence of his being a “social” person, he has to recognize his responsibility of knowing and recognizing the birthdays of each of his friends. So as not to spend too much money, he can simply stockpile 20 to 30 salt and pepper shakers in his drawer or shelf. If the time comes (birthday) that he has to give something to a friend, all he has to do is place the gift in a box, add some warm dedication, and send it via mail or through the office errand personnel. That’s how simple it is
